Christopher Boucher is the author of the novels How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive and Golden Delicious.

More Alive and Less Lonely, a collection of nonfiction by Jonathan Lethem which I edited and wrote an introduction for, is out now from Melville House. Please click here to get your copy, and here to read about my experiences editing the book.
Over at The Alt, William Belcher lists Golden Delicious among “Nine books you may have missed in 2016.” “I heard Boucher read from the work in May,” Belcher writes, “and both scenes he read have stuck with me for months.”
I’m grateful to Thanks to Emily St. John Mandel for her kind words about Golden Delicious in her post for The Millions’s “A Year in Reading 2016.” Emily reviewed HTKYVA in 2011, and says that Golden Delicious is “infused with the same strange brilliance.”
